Farewell after three seasons - Bulgarian handball player Mari Plamenova Tomova is no longer a member of Budućnost.
As announced by the Podgorica club, the girl who plays as a left back and Buducnost have signed a mutual agreement to terminate their contract.
"Plamenova Tomova wore our jersey in the Champions League in previous seasons, contributing to the team in every match she was given the opportunity. With her work, attitude and professionalism, she left a mark on our team," said Buducnost.
The Bulgarian national team's new club will be the Hungarian Mošonmađarovar, which from this year will be led from the bench by Dragan Adžić, the legendary former coach of Buducnost and the head coach of Montenegro.
"The club thanks her for her cooperation so far and for everything she has provided to Buducnost during her time in Podgorica. We wish Mari Plamenova Tomova much success in the rest of her career," added Buducnost.
Plamen's Toma scored three goals in the Champions League this season, while her best goal-scoring performance was in the 2023/24 season when she scored 16 times.
