Buducnost women's handball team will continue their competition in the European Women's Handball Champions League after a break of almost two months by visiting the Romanian Gloria Bistrica.
The ninth round match is scheduled for Saturday at 16 p.m.
Buducnost is winless in the competition so far, with one point won.
Gloria won the first head-to-head match in Podgorica 29:26, and so far in the competition has recorded six wins and two losses.
Buducnost coach Zoran Abramović said that, after the last match against Esbjerg, he only had four players in training due to the national team's obligations at the World Cup.
He emphasized that the team was completed on December 18th and had two friendly matches against Lokomotiva in Podgorica before the New Year.
"The girls who were with the national team and achieved a great result are coming with great confidence. I expect us to carry that over into the second part of the championship," said Abramović.
Speaking about Saturday's match with Gloria, he pointed out that the Podgorica team is facing one of the toughest away games in the Champions League.
"A good team, made up of national team players from their countries. Four Romanian national team players also wear the Gloria jersey. This is the team that perhaps has the best audience, where it is very difficult to play. We need that as an additional motivation. The ball is round, we will try," said Abramović.
He said that Buducnost is not traveling to Romania with a "white flag".
"I expect them to take us very seriously, we are not going with a white flag, we have confidence and we will do our best," Abramović concluded.
