Abramović: We are continuing full steam ahead with the formation of the team for next season

Another Champions League season, the third in a row, for Buducnost women's handball team ended after the group stage. This time in last place in the group.

The results are not encouraging, but it seems that a lot should be different from September when the new edition of the EHF elite starts.

Montenegrin captain Đurđina Jauković is back, contracts with leading players have been extended, and there will be more reinforcements.

"The Chamois League is over for us this season, but we are moving forward and continuing at full speed with the formation of the team for the next edition of the elite competition," said Zoran Abramović, who arrived at the "blue and white" bench in September after the first two rounds of the Champions League.

Buducnost has recorded a win, a draw and 12 losses this season, and in the last match of the group stage they lost to Debrecen away (32:30), although they played one of the better matches.

"We played a good and uncertain game until the last minute. The girls played bravely and with sacrifice and gave their maximum at this moment," added Abramović.

The two-time European champion still has domestic competitions to look forward to until the end of this season, but the outcome has been practically known for decades and the Podgorica team has no real rival.
