Buducnost extends contracts with coaching staff members

The women's handball club OTP Group Budućnost has extended the contracts with the members of the first team's coaching staff, who will continue to work with head coach Zoran Abramović, who has a valid contract with the club, in the upcoming season.

"Guided by the principle that a successful team does not change, the club has made the decision to retain the coaching staff, which has shown quality, dedication and professionalism in the previous period, fully justifying the trust placed in it. Continuity in work remains one of the key foundations of development, and the stability of the coaching staff is an additional guarantee that the team will continue to progress and respond to the challenges that await it on the biggest European stage," said Budućnost.

The coaching staff will continue to include the legend of Montenegrin and European handball Maja Savić as the first assistant, goalkeeper coach Novak Ristović, fitness coach Milivoje Đurđić, as well as physiotherapists Mitar Vujović and Anđelka Lekić.

The coaching staff will be further strengthened next season.

"Draško Kaluđerović, who achieved notable results as the Stars coach and secured a place in the First Montenegrin League, where his team confirmed its quality and great potential, will be in charge of scouting the opponents. Part of the professional team, as an official on the bench, will also be the club director Goran Cmiljanić, a celebrated handball player with significant experience and notable results in a coaching role. With a clearly defined vision, a stable and additionally strengthened coaching staff, as well as reinforcements in the playing staff, OTP Group Budućnost will begin preparations for the new season in the EHF Champions League in mid-July, with the ambition to be more competitive with the best European teams," OTP Group Budućnost announced.
