The Montenegrin women's handball team will play their last two matches in the EHF Euro 2026 qualifiers on Thursday, April 9, when they will play Portugal, while on Sunday, April 12, they will host the Faroe Islands.
Coach Suzana Lazović's team is the leader in Group 4 with six points, the Faroe Islands and Portugal have four points each and Iceland two points, so it is certain that the "lionesses" will play in the competition of the best European teams for the ninth time in a row.
The European Championship will be the 20th major competition for the "Lionesses" after the restoration of independence.
The hosts of the championship, which is scheduled from December 3rd to 20th, are: Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey.
