Montenegrin referees Miloš Ražnatović and Ivan Pavicevic will officiate in the semi-final of the EHF Champions League final tournament in Cologne, where German clubs Magdeburg and Fuhse Berlin will face off.
"A new major recognition from the European Handball Federation (EHF) is a confirmation of the continuity of top-notch performances by the refereeing pair from Cetinje, who have belonged to the elite group of European and world referees for years," said the Handball Association of Montenegro (RSCG).
The trust they received for one of the most important club handball matches comes after they refereed the EHF Euro 2026 final in January this year, further confirming their status among the best refereeing pairs in Europe.
The European Handball Federation then named Pavićević and Ražnatović for the final of the European Championship, which was their 13th major competition in their careers.
"The nomination for the EHF Euro 2026 final, as well as the delegation to the semi-finals of the EHF Champions League final tournament in Cologne, represent a great recognition for Pavićević and Ražnatović, but also a strong confirmation of the quality of Montenegrin refereeing and handball as a whole. The Handball Federation of Montenegro sends its sincere congratulations to Miloš Ražnatović and Ivan Pavićević and wishes them a successful performance at the EHF Champions League final tournament in Cologne," said the RSCG.
