The Montenegrin junior handball team started its performance at the European B Division Championship in Pristina with a victory.
Coach Suad Skenderović's team celebrated a 33:24 victory against Georgia.
Georgia had a two-goal lead at the start of the match, but our national team took control and gained a significant lead by the end of the first half - 16:9.
Our team continued to dominate, winning by a double-digit margin and making an excellent start to the championship, which features six national teams.
Vuk Lalošević was the most efficient with seven goals, while Balša Đurović and Aleksa Knežević scored five times each.
Montenegro will play against Italy tomorrow.
The competition is played according to the league system, meaning each team will play one match against all rivals in the group.
After five rounds, on Sunday, July 19, the matches for the final standings are scheduled – the final, the match for third place and the duel for fifth place.
