The Buducnost women's handball team is preparing for the upcoming season. Zoran Abramović's team will have a lot of new faces. One of them is Suna Hansen.
The Faroe Islands national team player arrived in the "blue and white" from the Danish Skanderborg, where she had notable performances.
"I'm very excited to be here at Buducnost. Podgorica is a beautiful city, and everyone welcomed me very warmly and kindly. I can't wait to meet all the fans, volunteers and everyone who comes to support us at the games."
During the preparation period, Buducnost will play several friendly matches, and on the first weekend of September, they will start the new edition of the Champions League. For the 31st time in history, the "blue and white" will compete in the elite competition that the Podgorica giants have won twice.
"The girls on the team and the coaching staff are great and I'm really happy to be a part of this team. I can't wait to get started and compete in the Champions League together. I believe we have a great season ahead of us and I'm looking forward to everything that lies ahead. Let's go, Buducnost," said Hansen in an interview with the club's website.

"With the arrival of Suna Hansen, Buducnost gains another quality solution in the center back position, and we are confident that with his quality, energy and international experience he will make a significant contribution to achieving the club's goals in the season ahead," the Montenegrin champions stated.
Buducnost is in Group A of the Champions League along with Ferencvaros, Esbjerg, CSM Bucharest, Brest, Krim, Borussia Dortmund and Solo.
The top two teams will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the teams ranked third to sixth will play in the round of 16.
