The boxing national team of Montenegro gathered in Budva and began two-week preparations, the Boxing Association announced.
It is stated that the largest number of talented and established boxers have been invited to the preparations so far.

In the youth and senior age group, Nenad Marković (Podgorica), Edin Alković (Podgorica), Stevan Sjekloća (Budva), Stefan Savković (Podgorica), Miloš Krasnići (Budva), Petar Liješević (Budva), Viktor Mihailović (Budućnost 97) , Milovan Sekulović (Podgorica), Tamara Radunović (Budva), Petar Marčić (Budva), Kristijan Drobnjak (Podgorica) and Marko Radonjić (Podgorica).
"The goal of the boxing association is to expand the base in the coming period, so by gathering a larger number of talented boxers as often as possible, in the future they will have a larger number of competitors they can count on. The most talented schoolboys and juniors are gathered for the preparations, with coach Ružić and his assistants Kovačević and Mulić use the opportunity to work as much as possible on boxing school, boxing technique and tactical variants of fighting," said selector Boško Drašković.
He emphasized that the best in the youth and senior age group are doing basic preparations.
"They will have a demanding competition calendar throughout the year. Our boxers have won three medals at the European Championships in the past three years, and even five of them fought for a medal, so we want to continue in the same or even stronger rhythm," Drašković said.
He emphasized that national team members of all ages will participate in numerous international tournaments.
"The most prominent of them is the European Junior Championship, in May, where Bojana Gojković will defend the title of European champion, as well as the European Youth Championship, where we will be represented by five boxers who have already drawn attention to themselves with their results in the past two years," he said. Draskovic.
He reminded that Tamara Radunović will participate in the European Games in Minsk.
"As we know, the European Games in Minsk will also be the European boxing championship, so participation would be open, so the experienced weightlifter Marko Radonjić, who is undefeated in professional boxing, as well as Milovan Sekulović, Stefan Savković and Petar Marčić, would take part in it. "The best in Minsk will qualify for the World Championship, which will also qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo," said Drašković.
He announced that Bojana Gojković and Tamara Radunović will participate in the Cup of Nations in Sombor next week, which will bring together female boxers from around 20 countries.
