Furtula won the meeting in Split

Montenegrin national team member and discus record holder Danijel Furtula won the discus throw today at the international athletics meeting in Split.

Furtula won with a result of 63,20 meters, at the first athletics competition of the year, after full training and several months of preparation in Medulin and Zagreb.

"I am very satisfied with the result at the first athletics competition this year. The result is excellent, it was achieved with a huge reserve. In the warm-up, I had a shot over 65m and the norms for this year's World Championships in Doha. I am grateful to the Athletics Federation of Montenegro and the support I have in the implementation of the plan and the program. I will already show true values ​​in the next competitions," said Danijel Furtula
