Montenegrin judoka Srđan Mrvaljević will fight tomorrow against Austrian Shamil Boršashvili at the start of the European Championship, in the category up to 81 kilograms.
The championship in Minsk will be held as part of the European Games.
"It's important to be motivated, I hope I'll be inspired. At the championship, anyone can beat anyone. It's important for me to do my best and beat my rival. The Austrian I'm fighting against is young, he won medals in younger categories." said Mrvaljevic.
In the same category, Nebojsa Gardašević will be free in the first round, while the Spaniard Urkiz Solani awaits him in the second.
"If I beat the Spaniard in the second round, I will fight the world champion from 2017 and last year's bronze medal winner. I have trained a lot, I believe I will give my best," said Nebojša Gardašević.
In the category up to 73 kilograms, Nikola Gardašević will rest in the first round, while in the second he will fight with the better of the duel between Romanian Aleksandra Raica and Ramos Martin Fabijan from Andorra.
"In the second round, I believe I will fight with the representative of Romania. I have serious matches waiting for me later. I am satisfied with my form," said Nikola Gardašević.
All three Montenegrin judokas will be on the tatami on Sunday.
On Monday, Danilo Pantić (category up to 100 kilograms) will fight at the start of the championship against former European champion in the junior category, Aron Farom from Austria.
