The Montenegrin volleyball player also experienced it Danijela Džaković, who, due to her instinctive and reckless gesture, found herself in the center of attention of the media in Indonesia and beyond.
Namely, in a league match in Indonesia, where she played for two months, our national team player slapped her team's libero at the end of a point. Jewel Bermillo, after both defensive players at the same time tried to play the second ball with the hammer. Džaković immediately repented, became aware of what she had done, immediately hugged her crying teammate.
After the end of the match, our volleyball player could not stop crying, and the biggest comfort she received was from Birmiljo, with whom she was also her best friend during her stay in Indonesia. Thus, the two of them smoothed over the incident.
"Another lesson in my life. I want to apologize to my teammate. I love her, we are really good friends," said the 25-year-old Pljevlja woman after the match.
The video of the slap went viral immediately, and the club of our volleyball player, Balipur, apologized to the fans for the incident, stressing that sometimes things get out of control due to heightened emotions, but that this does not justify Džaković's gesture, which is why the club punished her (it is not stated how ).
"It's not that we approve of Miss Džaković's actions towards Miss Bermiljo, but we ask everyone to forgive her and not to judge her as a person because of one moment of weakness," the statement of the club for which Džaković performed, among other things, states.
After completing her duties at the club, Džaković returned to Montenegro.
"It was terrible. Whenever I think about it... Whoever watched the second and third set could see my behavior on the court. That wasn't me. I was calm, focused on work only as a professional. My teammates, the coach, everyone they begged me to keep playing, but I just wanted the game to be over and to go to the locker room. I was disappointed in myself. These moments of weakness that happened to me shouldn't happen, shouldn't prevail. Of course, after that I got a lot of negative comments, but there were also positive ones, people told me that "these things happen, it's a sport, look how emotional she is, look how much love she plays". After that, even the commentators of the match spoke on the TV show about what happened and they came to my defense in a way that such things happen in sports," Danijela told the famous volleyball portal Worldofvolley.

It cannot happen that every player, without order, goes to the same ball. The one who announces that the ball is his should play that ball. If you look at some of our games, you can notice a lot of lack of communication, that players go to the ball that they shouldn't go to, and vice versa . That would annoy any player with a winning mentality. At 24:19 for the opponent in the first set, it was a long point, and in one action I shouted "it's mine", and then (Bermillo) ran into me, hit me with her hands.
