There is no end to judo jumbo - the Ministry of Sports and Youth shut down the Judo Association of Montenegro, in the meantime a Judo Association was formed, which the Ministry recognizes, but the Administrative Court accepted the appeal of the SCG and annulled the decision to delete it from the register of sports organizations.
That is why the leaders of the organization, whose legitimacy is not recognized by the executive power, and whose legitimacy is not contested by the court, held a press conference.
"Who knows how many times we called the Ministry of Sports and Youth, but there was no answer. Instead, we were exposed to enormous obstacles, but we weathered them. We fully complied with all obligations from the new Law on Sports, agreed on the work, organization and general acts within the specified deadlines. Despite this, the Judo Association of Montenegro was deleted from the register of sports organizations. It is a precedent unheard of in the history of sports, especially since it was done without any legal foundation," said the president of the Judo Association. Dragomir Bečanović.
The coach also spoke at the press conference Rajko Mrvaljevic, who called out his namesake, a well-known judoka Srdjan Mrvaljević.
"This chaotic situation was caused by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and initiated and profited the most financially by the patriot Srđan, who in the so-called He performs the function of director and competitor and who knows what else for the Judo Association. During the years of dispute, Sebi secured through the World Judo Federation participation in all Grand Slams and Grand Prevs that carry a large number of points for the Olympic Games, and our best competitors could not finish even 30 percent of the program. I don't know whose interest it is. I hope the minister will Janović understand what mistake he made and that he will correct it as soon as possible".
The Gardašević brothers complain of torture
The brothers also spoke at the press conference Nikola i Nebojsa Gardašević. Nikola accused Dragan Šćepanović i Novica Milović that they tortured him, his brother Nebojš and his sister Tamara while they were in Academic.
"I had no idea that after the change in the club, he would take a leading position in the newly formed association, that he would decide on my fate in sports. They addressed us with an email in which it was written that, although we are the best, it will be as they say and that no one else will decide who will go to the competitions".
Nebojša spoke similarly.
"I was denied two important grand prix by the director and selectors of the newly founded association because I am a competitor of Srđan Mrvaljević for the Olympic Games. I am sure that with the points in those two competitions, I would be closer to the Olympic norm. In just six competitions, I caught up with Srđan in the Olympic rankings, and he participated in 18 or 19. Dragan Šćepanović told us that we traveled a lot these two years and that he would give a chance to other guys, as if we were doing it as a tourist, not shed so much sweat”.
