How paradoxical is the situation in judo sport that arose after the Ministry of Sports and Youth deleted the Judo Association of Montenegro from the register of sports entities (and the Administrative Court ruled that it was illegal a few days ago), after which a new Judo Association of Montenegro was founded Above, today's announcements from the two federations, on the occasion of the Grand Prix in Zagreb (July 26 - 29), are also discussed.
The Judo Association informed that five of our judokas will participate in the Grand Prix.
The first performance of our representatives will be on the second day of the competition. Marko Gušić (-73kg) is expected by the representative of Austria, Vačid Borčašvili, while Arso Milić (-81kg) will compete with the representative of Italy, Anre Ređis.
Novo Raičević will also compete in the same weight category, who after the free first round is waiting for the winner of the match between the American Arthur Wright and the Korean Seungsu Lee.
Anto Dubreta (-100kg) and Jovana Peković (-78kg) will perform on the third and final day of the tournament. Peković will meet with the representative of Israel, Inbar Lanir, while Dubreta, after the free first round, will work with the winner of the match between the representative of Lithuania, Yevgenijs Borodavko and the representative of Finland, Jakoa Ali. The national coach, Dragan Šćepanović, is with the national team.
From the Judo Association of Montenegro, headed by Dragomir Bečanović, emphasizing that the best-ranked Montenegrin judokas, along with Srđan Mrvaljević, will miss this competition.
