The boxing national team of Montenegro won two gold and one bronze medals at the international boxing show in Sarajevo.
Petar Marčić, a light heavyweight from the Budva boxing club, and Milovan Sekulović from BK Podgorica won gold, while Sekulović's clubmate Stefan Savković earned bronze in the category up to 69 kilograms.
Sekulović won against Besart Pirev from Kosovo, while Marčić had a more difficult time and after Murat Grgun from Turkey, he also got the Slovenian Gregor Starašnić in the final to win the tournament.
In the semifinals of the category up to 69 kg, Savković was defeated by the best boxer from Kosovo, Behrami Patriot, who was fifth at the European Championship in Minsk. For our boxers, this tournament was the first after the summer break, and they will be getting in shape for the Balkan Championship in Antalya from October 26 to November 2.
The boxers were in Sarajevo with selector Boško Drašković, coach Nikola Ružić and national team director Dragan Đuričković.
