BK Podgorica boxers dominated the fifth memorial boxing show "Dragoslav Jakovljevic - Babea" in Kragujevac.
Nenad Marković was recognized as the best boxer of the international review, Milovan Sekulović was recognized as the best boxer, and Stefan Savković was recognized as the most combative boxer. Only Edimn ASlković was defeated and that by outvoting Lazar Antic from BK Vitez.
"Our boxers made great use of the show to get in shape before the Balkan Championship, which will be held in Turkey at the end of October. There were 25 fights at the show and our competitors confirmed that they are dominant in the region," said coach Boško Drašković.
Nenad Marković was declared the best because he defeated the local boxer Lazar Pantić in the exhibition.
"He led the fight brilliantly, unfailingly excavating and hitting his opponent and once again showed how much talent he possesses. Alković was defeated, albeit with greater skill, because the judges voted to reward his rival's greater desire in a tied match. Savković defeated Džejlan Toskic from Novi Pazar. he controlled the match with his hand, kept the opponent at a distance, and hit hard with his right hand. Sekulović convincingly defeated Jovan Smiljić from Kragujevac at a fierce pace from the first round, who must be recognized for his desire and persistence to finish the match on his feet," emphasized Drašković.
However, the selector also noticed some weaknesses...
"It is obvious that our boxers lack matches, and we have to work on eliminating the deficiencies in the next period".
