Earlier today, the silver medalist from the European Championship in Helsingborg defeated the Frenchman Mateo Bohas (3:0) in the semifinals, with whom he shares the fourth place in the world senior table tennis ranking.
He finished the competition in the group yesterday as the first place, with victories against Sian Jin Su from Taipei 3:1 (11:9, 6:11, 11:5, 11:6) and the official champion of Asia, Indonesian Komet Akbar 3:1 (11: 8, 11:9, 9:11, 11:7) and won direct placement in the quarterfinals.
In the quarter-final duel, after a reversal, he defeated the Frenchman Gilles De La Budone 3:2. The experienced Frenchman had a 9:4 advantage in the fifth set, but Radović managed to make a turnaround and celebrate 15:13.
"I am satisfied with the result achieved in Finland. In the final I was defeated by the second player in the world Jacobs with a maximum score of 3:0. He was dominant from the very beginning, I did not manage to impose my game and he won fully deserved. However, I have one good tournament behind me. , most importantly, I justified the role of the second seed in the tournament. I still have to prepare for the tournament in the Netherlands, which will be held from November 1 to 3. I hope to maintain my form until then and play at a similar level as in Finland ", said Radovic.
