Budva boxers demonstrated their class at the recently concluded "Zagreb Open", where coach Nikola Ružić's team won three gold and two bronze medals.
The best young athlete of Montenegro, Bojana Gojković, after a break of several months, decided to box for the first time in a heavier category, up to 57 kg, and with two effective victories she was declared the best boxer of the international show in Zagreb.
Gold medals were won by Andrija Lambulić and Andrija Brajković, while bronze medals went to Nikola Radenović and Damjan Liješević.
The European junior champion, Gojković, won Zorica Bajin from Serbia by knockout in the first match, and then Korina Jusup from Croatia by stoppage, Lambulić defeated fighters from Romania and Croatia, and Brajković a boxer from Hungary.
"The tournament was excellently organized and we thank the people from the Zagreb Boxing Association, with whom we have excellent cooperation. We are also satisfied with the results achieved, the boxers were good, but we saw some segments that we need to work on in order to be even better," he said. is Ružić.
