Budva boxing club contestants Tamara Radunović, Bojana Gojković and Nina Radenović successfully completed the 3rd international boxing camp in Moscow.
In Moscow, along with our female boxers, competitors from France, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Hungary, Norway, Latvia, Greece, Slovenia and the host country, Russia, gained knowledge and improved their form.
"During the last three days of the camp, the female boxers had numerous test matches, in which no winners were declared. The female competitors were great, as many winners of the most prestigious competitions participated. All my female competitors had three matches each, or nine merciless fights. Senior Radunović boxed with Valeria Rodionova, the four-time champion of Russia and multiple winner of European medals, then with the trophy-winning Swede Helena Enval and Natalija Sucigova, who also has a medal from the European Championship," said BK Budva coach Nikola Ružić.
Even the most trophy-winning Montenegrin boxing team had rivals to match.
"Gojković boxed with Anastasija Kirienko, who was also the European junior champion this year, only in the category below, and the other two boxers were from Russia, Dijana Atanasova and Polina Homjakova. Radenović fought against Hungarian Olimpija Kish, Latvian Katarina Marchenko and Russian Ksenija Sergejine," informed Ružić, and added: "I am very satisfied with the camp in Russia, and the welcome of the hosts. And of course, more than satisfied with the quality of my competitors' fights. They did not differ at all, even in some segments they were better than their trophy rivals. I am sure that we are on the right path and that the camp will be a valuable experience for our female boxers," concluded Ružić
