Montenegrin Paralympian Filip Radović is third in the November senior ranking of the World Para Table Tennis Federation with 1.702 points, the Montenegrin Paralympic Committee announced.
The leading position in the senior ranking was retained by the official world and European champion, Polish Patrik Czynowski with 1.882 points, and David Jacobs from Indonesia came second with 1.842 points...
Radović reached the best placement in his career, in the S 10 class, after winning silver at the European Championship in Helsingborg and the tournament in Pajulahti, Finland, where he was also second.
"It is a position that currently leads him directly to the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. In addition to the champions of the continents, the six best-placed players on the April list drawn on March 31, 2020, will directly qualify for the Games," the Paralympics announced committee.
Luka Bakić, a member of the bronze Montenegrin team from Helsingborg, ranks 16th (1.493) in the November rankings.
Radović takes first place in the competition of players under the age of 23.
"I am satisfied that after a good performance at the EP and the tournament in Pajulahti, I came from ninth to third place. I will do my best to remain among the top six in the world by March 31 next year and win a direct placement at the Paralympic Games," he said. Radovic.
On November 13, Radović will be presented with the annual award of the city of Cetinje, which is awarded to individuals or companies as a special form of public recognition for the best achieved results in all areas of work and creativity that are of exceptional importance for the capital.
