The Montenegrin boxing team won seven medals at the international tournament "Zagreb Open", in the senior and youth age groups.
Stefan Savković, Petar Liješević, Edin Alković and Nina Radenović climbed to the top step of the podium.
The silver medals went to Tamara Radunović and Nenad Marković, while the bronze went to Nela Radenović.
The best Montenegrin boxer, Bojana Gojković, two-time European champion in Zagreb had no opponent, so she used the tournament for valuable sparring.
The tournament in Zagreb meant for our representatives to gain form and experience, and next weekend in Budva they will box again at the traditional 29th "Pearl of the Adriatic".
With our selection in Zagreb were coaches Nikola Ružić and Bajram Ademović, who are satisfied with the form and the performance shown in the ring of the Croatian capital, before the upcoming challenges at the "Pearl of the Adriatic", as well as the "Youth Golden Glove" at the beginning of December in Leskovac.
In Zagreb, Savković was particularly convincing, winning the final with an effective knockout.
