Table tennis player Filip Radović is the best Montenegrin Paralympian in 2019, in the traditional selection of the Montenegrin Paralympic Committee, the Management Board of that association decided.
This year, Radović won a silver medal individually and a bronze medal in the team at the senior European championship in Helsingborg.
He also won gold at the European Youth Games in Lahti, in the competition of players under the age of 23, and won medals at the Masters in Linjan, Laško and Lahti.
Radović takes third place in the senior ranking in the S10 class, while he is in the leading position in the junior competition.
The most successful national team is the table tennis national team of Montenegro, which, consisting of Filip Radović, Luka Bakić and Dejan Bašanović, won the bronze medal at the EP in Helsingborg, the first team in the history of Montenegrin Paralympic sports.
The most successful coach is Nicolae Lupulescu, coach of Filip Radović and the table tennis team of Montenegro.
Judoka Adnan Kujović was chosen as the most successful young athlete, who was fourth at the European Youth Paralympic Games in the competition for people with visual impairments.
Chess player Predrag Nikač, gold medalist from the individual world championship for people with visual impairments from Cagliari, will be recognized for an exceptional sports result, as well as the Montenegrin national team, which played the final of the European Championship C division in Italy's Lakvila.
