Budva boxers continued their streak of success at the "Youth Golden Gloves" in Leskovac, which ended today.
Petar Liješević celebrated in the category up to 81 kilograms with recognition for the best foreign boxer at the three-day show. In the final, he was better than the Macedonian Petar Ognjenovski, and the young boxer from Budva proved his class by winning bronze at the European Junior Championship
His club mate in the category up to 75 kilos, Miloš Krasnići, received the award for the most fighting pair, winning in the final over the local boxer Goran Šerifović. In the semi-finals, Krasnić was better than Ivan Ristovski, a member of the North Macedonian national team.
The boxers were accompanied by their trainer Nikola Ružić in Leskovac, and Montenegrin judge Đorđija Perović also administered justice at the show.
"I am satisfied with the performances of Petr and Miloš, because they once again showed that they are dominant in the entire region. The next year will be extremely important for them, because they will perform at the world and European championships. Now they are slowly preparing for these challenges," Ružić said. .
