Montenegrin kickboxer Miroslav Vujović will have a new challenge this week, one of the biggest in his career.
They will compete at the Tatneft Cup, one of the most prestigious K1 tournaments, which will be held in Kazan, Russia.
His rival will be Dutchman Dexter Suis.
"I am the first fighter from Montenegro who will fight in this tournament. The rule of the tournament is that the fight lasts three rounds of three minutes, but if no fighter is counted in those three rounds, it automatically goes to the fourth, additional round that decides the winner ", explained Vujović.
This is the first round of the tournament, and the winner goes to the next round, which will take place in the following months...
"It's an elimination system, tournaments are organized several times a year, right up to the final," Vujović said.
He prepared in the "Ronin Gym" of Miša Bačulov in Novi Sad, where, as he says, he had fantastic conditions for training.
"Last week we also had a heavyweight camp attended by Andrej Stoika and Tomaš Hron, among others, two big names in world kick-boxing, so I will be well prepared for this tournament," emphasized Vujović, who, due to his participation in the tournament in Kazan, will not to be part of the Montenegrin national team at the upcoming European Cup, which will be held on the same day in Belgrade.
"I hope for the success of my comrades who will perform there," Vujović said.
