The current president of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (COK), Dušan Simonović, is the only candidate for a new mandate at tomorrow's election Assembly, it was announced from the krPublish and Update Time Association of Montenegrin Sports.
Simonović was nominated for the new mandate by 12 national sports federations. There were no other proposals.
Simonović has been the head of COK since May 28, 2003.
His mandate was extended at the Assembly on November 23, 2008, he received new support on November 3, 2012, as well as on November 3, 2016.
The COK Assembly has 46 representatives of national sports federations.
Federations whose sports are on the Olympic Games program have 30 representatives, the Club of Montenegrin Olympians has four, the Sports Commission has two, and other sports federations and associations have 10 representatives.
