Vasilije Lalošević, director of the Sports and Youth Administration, hosted the winners of gold and bronze medals at the European Youth Boxing Championship - Bojana Gojković, Petar Liješević, Nina Radenović and Miloš Krasnići, as well as the president of the Boxing Association Aleksandar Klemenko, coach Boško Drašković, Nikola Ružić and the president of the Budva boxing club Davor Dokić.
"Lalošević congratulated our athletes on their success, as well as the acquired right to a one-year scholarship and the status of a promising athlete," the Sports and Youth Administration announced.
"Young boxers are a true example of how continuous work, dedication and love for what you do really pays off. I am convinced that the successes of these young and talented people will further encourage our youth to follow in their footsteps", said the director of the Sports and Youth Administration.
Lalošević also sent his congratulations to the management of the Boxing Association of Montenegro, especially to coach Boško Drašković and his professional team, and pointed out that he is looking forward to future cooperation.
The European Youth Boxing Championship was held from November 11 to 23 last year in Budva. 22 countries participated in the competition, with more than 170 boxers.
The athletes were also handed European youth cards today, which enable all Montenegrin citizens between the ages of 13 and 29 to use over 100 discounts in Montenegro and over 60 discounts throughout Europe.
