The first race at the World Skiing Championship in the Italian Cortina d'Ampezzo was postponed today due to heavy snow.
Due to the bad conditions, the organizers had to cancel today's race for skiers in the alpine combination, and the International Ski Federation stated that the new date will be known soon.
Favorites in the alpine combination are Mikaela Šifrin, Petra Vlhova, Michel Gizin and Federica Brignone.
Races in the men's and women's competition in the super giant slalom are scheduled for Tuesday.
The World Cup in Italy is being held without spectators due to the coronavirus pandemic.
