The president of the world association of Olympic boxing - AIBA, Umar Kremljov, held an open training on the beach in Bar today with the participants of the jubilee, 30th Pearl of the Adriatic.

Formerly a fashion show, since this season the Pearl of the Adriatic is a prestigious international tournament in which as many as 14 countries from Europe and Asia participate.

Kremljev held training with competitors from Finland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and Montenegro.

On that occasion, he introduced the competitors to modern equipment and distributed the kits.

Previously, Kremljov held a meeting with representatives of national boxing organizations, which was attended by the Director of the Sports and Youth Administration, Vasilije Lalošević, and the President of the Croatian Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović.

"My task is to be as close as possible to the athletes and coaches, so that we can create the necessary and best possible conditions in the interest of boxing. Despite the pandemic, we must organize tournaments so that athletes can gain knowledge and improve their form. The example of Montenegro shows that tournaments can be successfully organized with security measures," Kremlinov emphasized.

Montenegro was the first in the pandemic, in November it organized the European Youth Championship in Budva, and due to the excellent work done, it won the organization again this year. And not only that, because of problems with the pandemic, the president of the Boxing Association of Montenegro, Aleksandar Klemenko, moved the Pearl of the Adriatic to Bar.

"You should forget all the old problems and become one big boxing family in the Balkans. This region has enormous potential. We have to learn to work in any conditions in the interest of athletes and coaches," concluded Kremljov.
