Darko Pešić and Marija Vuković will represent Montenegro at the European Indoor Championships from March 4 to 7 in Torun, Poland, the Athletics Federation announced.
Pešić, a member of the Lim Athletics Club from Beran, will compete in the heptathlon, and a member of AK Podgorica in the high jump.
Pešić's coach, Feđa Kamasi, physiotherapist Slobodan Marković from Novi Sad and Joana Simonu, coach of Marija Vuković will be in the expedition of the Athletic Association.
According to the tables of the European Athletics Federation, Pešić ranks ninth with 6.036 points out of a total of 12 athletes who met the standards for the European Championships.
Vuković is in the ninth position in the competition of 17 athletes who will participate in the championship, with a jump of 193 centimeters.
According to the schedule of the European Championship, Pešić is scheduled to compete in the heptathlon on March 6 and 7, while Vuković has qualifications on March 5.
The final is scheduled for March 7 (17.45:XNUMX p.m.).
The championship in Toruń will bring together a record 733 athletes, of which 405 in men's and 328 in women's competition from 47 countries.
