Igor Vušurović, the famous Montenegrin volleyball player and Olympic gold medalist, has been elected as a member of the working group for the development and coordination of regional associations in the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro announced.
"In order to further develop the sport of volleyball and reach the highest level, where volleyball definitely belongs, and in accordance with the decisions of the Administrative Board of CEV, from the meeting held on February 26, CEV President Aleksandar Boričić announced that on March 4 formed working groups for the period from 2020 to 2024. Our golden Olympian will be a member of a working group that has the same task as Vušurović has in the Volleyball Association of Montenegro - the development of volleyball. In addition to that working group, new members were also elected in the remaining three, which deal with athletes, marketing and snow volleyball," the OSCG press release states.
Vušurović was also the president of OSCG, and he was also the director of the Administration for Sport and Youth of Montenegro.
