The Swiss Marko Odermat is the winner of the ninth giant slalom of the season, which was held today in Slovenia's Kranjska Gora for the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
He was fourth after the first run, and he won in a total time of two minutes, 12 seconds and 87 hundredths.
It's his second victory this season, fourth overall in the World Cup.
He also celebrated in the super giant slalom in Austrian Zalbach-Hinterglemm.
Odermat was one second and six hundredths of a second faster than the second-placed compatriot Liok Millar, while Austrian Stefan Brensteiner was third with a gap of one second and nine hundredths of a second.
Frenchman Alexis Panturo finished in fourth place, fifth was his compatriot Metju Favre, and sixth was Croatian Filip Zubcic.
With the triumph in Kranjska Gora, Odermat took the lead in the giant slalom standings with 625 points and has 25 more than the second-placed Panturo.
Zubcic is third with 526 points.
Panturo occupies the leading position in the overall standings of the World Cup with 1100 points.
Odermat is second with 1069, and Marko Švarc is third with 718 points.
