The Judo Association of Montenegro (JSCG) announced the announcement from that organization - that the President of the Board of Directors, Andrija Čađenović, was dismissed at the Assembly in Kolašin.
In an unsigned letter from the e-mail office@jscg.me, the information sent to "Vijesta" by the president of the Assembly of JSCG Novica Milović is denied.
We transmit the announcement in its entirety and thus end the controversy and every story about this sport, until the Gordian knot in Montenegrin judo and in the two federations, JSCG and DžSCG, is resolved where it should be - in court.
"The Judo Federation of Montenegro consists of 31 clubs with the Decision of the Administration for Sports and Youth, and 12 clubs that are trying to carry out an illegal coup in the Judo Federation for the second time in a row cannot possibly be the majority.
The previous Assembly, which was organized by this same minority group, was annulled by the Sports Inspection.
Today's Assembly, from which they have already managed to send a press release, has already been reported to the Sports Inspection and we are sure that its epilogue will be exactly the same, for the reason that it is full of illegalities and irregularities.
We will mention only one banal irregularity, which is that the Speaker of the Assembly, Mr. Novica Milović, who submitted his IRREVOCABLE resignation a few months ago, is presiding at today's session and at the end of the session, he submits his IRREVOCABLE resignation to the vote.
Also, the nine clubs that submitted a request for membership in June last year did not receive an invitation to participate in the session, although by law within 15 days of submitting the request they automatically become members of the Association, which is unequivocally guaranteed by the Law on Sports, Article 40.
We want to point out that we are proud that 19 clubs, including the most successful ones, such as Akademik, neither this time nor last time, accepted to participate in something that is illegal and damages the reputation of every club and judo sport.
Regarding the financial report mentioned by this minority group, we would like to state that it was adopted unanimously at the meeting of the Board of Directors by the same people who today are led by Mr. Milović, who demanded 1.500 euros from the association for his school fees, the biggest critics.
Since its foundation, the Judo Association has been fully compliant with the Law on Sports and dedicated to the progress and expansion of Judo in Montenegro.
Our financial reports always received the highest marks from all relevant institutions, and we were, and still are, fully committed to the unification of judo sports in Montenegro, which is clearly shown by the fact that we have grown from 16 founding clubs to 31 clubs in two years.
It is clear that this is about the President of the Assembly in IRREVOCABLE resignation and a part of the people from the Board of Directors who did not like the order that was introduced in judo sport, as well as the blocking of their arrogant behavior, blackmail and misuse of budget funds.
Novica Milović and his team apparently thought that political changes in the country could have a favorable effect on their prosperity in the Judo Federation, so overnight, illegally and with a minority, they would become the majority.
They won't succeed because this is sport, not politics. Results and work are valued here, not betrayals and manipulations.
The Judo Federation will no longer advertise on the occasion of such minority protests, we are focused on procuring sports equipment and the participation of our Olympic candidates in the Grand Slam tournaments in Tbilisi and Antalya," the JSCG statement reads.
