Director of the Administration for Sports and Youth Vasilije Lalošević today received the famous Montenegrin handball player Marija Jovanović, who has been enjoying the status of a top athlete for eight years.
"In this way, the Administration for Sports and Youth shows the determination of the state to invest in and take care of sports talents and exceptional athletes. Marija Jovanović, in accordance with the successes achieved in the handball representation and in accordance with the Law on Sports, received the right to a lifetime monthly allowance for exceptional sports results. She achieved these results by winning the gold medal at the European Senior Championship in 2012 and by winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games in London in 2012," said Lalošević.
"We can only be proud of our exceptional athletes, who amaze us and the audience around the world with their extraordinary achievements in almost all fields, and speak about Montenegro in the best way," added Lalošević.
Marija Jovanović thanked director Lalošević for his hospitality.
"I want to thank the Administration for Sports and Youth and the entire society, which takes care of top athletes," said the former national team member.
