Boxers from Podgorica beat Vardar from Skopje 18:2, in the second round of the Regional League.
It is the first triumph of the Podgorica boxers in the regional competition, after the initial defeat in Sarajevo against Željeznicar.
Vardar won the only points in Podgorica with the official result, because the host had no representative in the category up to 56 kilograms.
Nine matches were fought, and Podgorica triumphed in all nine fights.
In the youth competition, both competitors from Podgorica easily triumphed - Luka Gačević (up to 60) celebrated with a break in the first round against Alen Rustemov, while Đorđe Smolović (up to 75) triumphed against David Gorgokeski by unanimous decision of the referee.
In the competition for seniors, Edin Alković defeated Drilon Arifi in the category up to 60, and Nikola Lazarević (up to 64 kg) also triumphed against Jasin Lama by a unanimous decision of the judges.
Points were also brought to Podgorica by Patriot Bahremi, who defeated Alim Nasufi by a 69:4 decision in the up to 1 competition.
Up to 75 kilograms, Stefan Savković won Leo Jovanovski by unanimous decision, while Milovan Sekulović (up to 81) defeated Miloš Terzić (4:1).
In the heavyweight category, Milorad Purić (up to 91 kg) defeated Aleksandar Najdovski 3:2, while in the over 91 kg category, Dimitrije Milić triumphed against Arijan Pacharizi by stoppage in the third round.
In the next round, at the beginning of September, the boxers of Podgorica will host Loznica.
