Varvara Šikanova from Russia is the winner of the unprecedented competition in Montenegro, which lasted more than 26 hours on the hill of Gorica.
Šikanova ran 53 laps, and each lap was three and a half kilometers long.
Until the very end, Šikanova's main rival was Maja Bonačić from Croatia, who eventually finished the race with 52 laps, i.e. 182 kilometers, but gave up due to a knee injury.
The race called "Last One Standing" started on Saturday at 12 noon.
Competitors ran a 3,5-kilometer lap on the Gorica hill and had half an hour to run it, and at the same time, a new lap started every half hour.
34 men and 18 women started the race.
In the men's category, Filip Turk from Croatia won, who ran 41 laps, i.e. 143,5 kilometers.
The winner is the one who runs after the last competitor has given up.
In the men's competition, it is Turk, whose last rival was the Russian Vladimir Kot, who ran 39 laps.
Notable results in the men's competition from Montenegro were also achieved by Goran Bubanja who ran 34 laps, Marko Kavaja ran 30, Miloš Vojvodić 29...
In the women's category, Stojana Brašanac from Montenegro stood out, running as many as 43 laps, i.e. 150,5 kilometers.
