Table tennis player Filip Radović is the most successful Montenegrin Paralympian in 2021, the Management Board of the Paralympic Committee of Montenegro decided.
Radović won a bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, the first in the history of Montenegrin Paralympic sports.
He is currently the fifth player in the world senior ranking.
Athlete Maja Rajković, who won bronze in the javelin throw at the European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, will receive the award for an exceptional sports result in 2021.
The most successful national selection is the national team, vice-champion at the European Championship B division and seventh place at the European Championship A division in Samsun.
The most successful young athlete was swimmer Andrija Đurović, a medal winner at international swimming meets in Belgrade and Sarajevo.
The most successful coach is Nicolae Lupulescu, coach of Filip Radović and the table tennis team of Montenegro.
For an exceptional sports result in 2021, Veljko Čegar, coach of the Montenegrin athletics team, and Nikola Čurović, coach of the Montenegrin goalball team, will be awarded.
