Former Serbian karate player Snežana Pantić died at the age of 44 after a long illness, Belgrade media reports.
Snežana Pantić became famous under the surname Perić, later she married former Partizan goalkeeper Đorđe Pantić.
At the beginning of this century, Zrenjaninka also played for Budućnost from Podgorica, and at the age of 24 she became the youngest world champion in Madrid.
She was born on June 18, 1978, in her rich career she was also the champion of Europe (2006), and she has more than 30 titles and over 100 medals, according to B92.
