The best Montenegrin athlete, Marija Vuković, has set herself the goal of fifth place at the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, secretly hoping to jumpstart her career and win a medal.
She exceeded her goal by winning the fourth place, achieved the greatest success in the history of Montenegrin athletics, after she jumped the bar at 195 centimeter on the first attempt.

"It remains regrettable, because the fourth place is so close, but so far from a medal. I needed a little luck or a little more faith in my abilities. I know I can go over 198 centimeters, but today I didn't manage to show that. Still, despite everything, I'm satisfied alone, this is a great result and a great prelude to the outdoor season," Vuković told RTCG and added:
"I had a lot of support from my brother and sister. I jumped again for my mother and I tell her to fight like me"!
