Young Montenegrin swimmers Andrija Đurović, Iskra Dedivanović and Miljan Lončar finished their performance at the open paraswimming championship in Zadar with 13 medals, the Paralympic Committee announced.
Đurović, a member of the swimming club OSI Talas from Budva, won four gold medals in the S9 category, in the disciplines of 50-meter freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and dolphin.
"That brought him three golds and one silver in the general classification of the combined categories," announced the Paralympic Committee.
Dedivanović, a member of the Podgorica OSI Mako swimming club, won gold in the S9 category in the 50-meter backstroke, while she won two bronzes in the 50-meter crawl and breaststroke.
Her clubmate Miljan Lončar won two gold medals in the S10 category in the disciplines of 50-meter crawl and 50-meter backstroke.
Montenegrin competitors were led by coach Boško Radulović and Admir Hadžibegović.
The competition in Zadar brought together more than 100 swimmers from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro and Croatia.
The Croatian Paraswimming Association was the organizer.
