Only Dragan Pešić won a medal in Krajiva

Decathlete Dragan Pešić won a bronze medal at the Balkan Championship, for which he needed to pass the 7.000-point mark.

Pešić collected 7.010 points, for the only medal of our senior athletics team in the Romanian Craiova.

Danijel Furtula won fourth place in the discus throw with a score of 61,33 meters.

On the first day of the competition, Tomaš Đurović was also fourth in the shot put with a result of 19,67 meters, missing the bronze medal by nine centimeters.

After three disciplines on the first day in the decathlon, Darko Pešić withdrew due to an ankle ligament injury.

Mia Milašinović was ninth in the heptathlon with 4.394 points. Ivan Kukuličić won 13th place in the discus throw with a score of 49,68 meters.

With the Montenegrin national team at the competition, Sanja Đurnić, coach from AK "Sanja" from Bar, was the road leader and team leader.

Our selection was weakened by the absence of Marieja Vukloović, who already made her debut with the fifth place in the Diamond League in Paris, Kristina Rakočević missed the competition due to the corona virus and Slađana Pejović due to injury.
