The Government of Montenegro will pay funds from the current budget reserve to the Handball and Water Polo-Swimming Association of Montenegro, and to athlete Marija Vuković, to provide additional financial resources for the implementation of program activities and preparations for the sports season.
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović announced the funds in question in an unusual way - on his Instagram profile, in the Story section.
Abazović stated that 2021 euros will be paid to Marija Vuković, the best Montenegrin athlete and sportswoman in 50.000, winner of the gold medal at the Mediterranean Games.
Funds in the amount of 100.000 euros will be paid to the Water Polo-Swimming and Handball Association of Montenegro, Abazović announced.
After the World Cup, the European Championship awaits the water polo players, as well as a series of actions by the younger selections, while the handball players will play at the championship of the Old Continent, and the handball players at the world championship, also in the performances of the younger selections.
