The Minister of Sports and Youth, Vasilije Lalošević, hosted the President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC), Spiros Kapralos, and the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović.
The reason for the meeting is the celebration of 15 years since the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (COC) was admitted to the international Olympic family. The official ceremony will be held tonight at 20 pm.
"The Ministry of Sports and Youth and COK, as the umbrella sports organization in Montenegro, have an excellent cooperation, the goal of which is to put the well-being of athletes first. Since 2007, when it was accepted into the IOC, our umbrella sports organization has worked dedicatedly and responsibly in the interest of all athletes, as evidenced by significant results at international competitions. I am convinced that our cooperation will be even more intense and that COK will continue to be at the service of all our athletes in the future," Lalošević pointed out.
The Ministry announced that Kapralos thanked Minister Lalošević for the reception and presented him with a European Olympic Committee plaque.
The meeting was also attended by the acting director of the Sports Directorate in the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Zoran Jojić.
