The Minister of Sports and Youth, Vasilije Lalošević, today hosted the young Montenegrin boxers Bojana Gojković and Tamara Radunović, medalists at the European Senior Boxing Championship in Budva, Aleksandar Klemenko, president of the Boxing Association of Montenegro, and Davor Dokić, president of the "Budva" boxing club. .
"Lalošević gave great recognition to the young female boxers, and pointed out that they were worthy representatives of Montenegrin sports in Budva," the Ministry announced.
Lalošević announced to the boxers Gojković and Radunović, that with this result, they have earned the right to receive a lifelong monthly sports allowance from the age of 35 as recognition for their success.
The president and the young contestants informed the minister about the preparations for the pre-Olympic cycle, in order to achieve the norm for going to the Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris in 2024.
"There was also talk about the sports infrastructure related to boxing, and it was concluded that there are opportunities for help from the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the state in this field, in order to provide better conditions for the smooth development of young Montenegrin boxers," the announcement concluded. .
