Iskra coach Vuk Žarić said that it is one of the most popular karate competitions in the world, which is organized under the auspices of the WKF federation.
He said that this will be an ideal opportunity for Montenegrin karate players to test their sports skills.
Speaking about the ten contestants of Iskra, who will perform in Venice, he pointed out that the preparations were intense and strong.
"We had a good test in the Balkan Championship, where, along with Omladinac, we were the club that contributed the most to the success of the national team. I'm talking about the number of medals, because that's what is remembered. Even though we don't perform with the strongest team, Iskra's competitors always go for the win ", Žarić told the MINA agency.
He reminded that Saša Petrić won the gold medal at the World League in Poreč this year, while Balša Vojinović was bronzed.
"The previous year's low success was also contributed by Anes Arifaj. They are definitely our main stars, while for us, the coaches, it would not be a surprise if one of the other members of the team climbed to the podium in addition to them," said Žarić.
