The Minister of Sports and Youth, Vasilije Lalošević, hosted the President of the Taekball Association of Montenegro, Milorad Šutulović, and the national team members.
The reason for the meeting is the recent first participation of the Montenegrin national team in the World Taekball Championship, which was held in Nuremberg, Germany.
Minister Lalošević praised the exceptional work of the Taekbol Association on the promotion and development of this sport in Montenegro, with special emphasis that it is a great success that in just one year of its activity, Montenegro is even at the World Championship.
President Šutulović thanked the minister for the continuous support he provides to the Taekbol Federation of Montenegro, as evidenced by the latest financial support just allocated for the participation of our representative selections in the World Championship.
Šutulović also used this opportunity to inform the minister about the very good position of our association in the International Taekball Federation (FITEQ), which resulted in the fact that Montenegro will host the European Taekball Tour, which leads directly to the European Games in 2023.
In addition to the above, Šutulović also informed the minister about the plans for the organization of the Adriatic Taekbol League, and he sees the Ministry of Sports and Youth as a strong partner for the realization of the stated goals in 2023.
Representatives Željko Janković, Marko Žarković and Andrija Jovanović presented Minister Lalošević with a jersey with his surname as a sign of gratitude and pointed out that in the coming period they will work hard to represent Montenegro as well as possible at prestigious international competitions in this sport.
