Montenegro is again on the list of countries that have complied with the UNESCO Convention against doping in sports.
Therefore, our country has fulfilled the obligations prescribed by this document, as confirmed in the letter that the Anti-Doping Commission received from the UNESCO Office in December 2022.
"The Anti-Doping Commission pointed out that they are very satisfied that in a short time since their formation and the election of the governing bodies, they have received the necessary funds from the relevant Ministry of Sports and Youth for Work, with which they otherwise have excellent cooperation, and that they have achieved results that are led to a positive assessment by UNESCO in terms of compliance with the regulations governing this area," the Ministry of Sports and Youth announced.
It was concluded that all this should be a tailwind for Montenegro to work even harder in 2023 on the implementation of anti-doping standards.
