The best young athlete of Montenegro, Bojana Gojković, is the winner of the international boxing tournament A class in Sweden. Gojković won the tournament in Boras for the third time in a row, and by winning the final over Englishwoman Amelie Garcia, she showed that she is dominant in the junior competition on the Old Continent.
Gojković is the current European champion and she also unanimously beat Rachel Loveley from the Republic of Ireland to reach the finals in the category up to 52 kilograms.
In addition to Gojković's gold, another BK Budva competitor, Tamara Radunović, won a medal - bronze in the senior women's category up to 57 kilograms. Radunović beat the Italian Giordana Sorrentino in the quarterfinals, but in the battle for the finals, she was defeated by the Englishwoman Kelly Baseli.
"There is no need to waste words on Gojković's performance because she simply boxed perfectly. Radunović deserved a medal, and the match against the English woman in the semifinals was equal and could have gone the other way," emphasized Nikola Ružić, coach of the great boxers from Budva.
