"European Teqball Tour" arrives in Podgorica.
In this way, the capital of Montenegro joined Budapest and Madrid, the stations of the European takball tour, and will be one of the centers where the takball tournament of the highest category is held after the World Championship.
The Taekbol Association of Montenegro and Podgorica will host the best takers in the world at the tournament, which will be held in the sports hall of the Voco Hotel from March 28 to 31.
The prestigious competition in our capital city is also the last opportunity for points to qualify for the European Games in Krakow, where taekwondo will make its debut.
Around 150 competitors are expected to participate, who will compete in five disciplines: men's and women's singles and doubles, as well as mixed pairs.
"We are extremely glad that FITEQ chose Podgorica and our Association for the organization of the European Tour tournament, especially this important one. It is a confirmation of the good work of the taekbol community in Montenegro, and I am convinced that we will live up to expectations with a quality organization of the competition. All of us in the Taekbol Association are happy that I have the opportunity to host the best in the world in this sport and that our audience will be able to become even better acquainted with this attractive, urban sport, which is increasingly popular in the world," said the president of the Tennis Association of Montenegro, Milorad Šutulović.
The tournament in our capital city is also a great opportunity for Montenegrin players to once again compete with the tableball elite and fight for the opportunity to represent the national team in Krakow this summer.
