Montenegrin boxer Bojana Gojković could not perform in the final of the Riga Ladies Boxing Cup international tournament in the capital of Latvia due to a high temperature.
The Budva member was supposed to fight Tereza Makinen from Finland in the final match of the category up to 57 kilograms.
The European vice-champion eliminated Sweden's Sarah Svensson in the semifinals yesterday.
"Gojković could not go to the ring due to health reasons and this time she had to settle for a silver medal," the Budva club announced.
The tournament in Riga gathered female boxers from 21 countries.
The European Vice-Champion tournament in Riga is part of the preparations for the European Games and the World Championship.
Alongside Gojković in Latvia is her coach and Montenegrin national team selector Nikola Ružić.
