Montenegrin karate representative Vladimir Mijač finished his kata performance at the 58th European Championship in Guadalajara in seventh place, and Biserka Radulović in ninth place.
Mijač won the second round of the championship as the first place in the group, and he received 40,5 points for performing the kata Gojushiho ho.
In the second round, he was fourth in the group with 38,4 points, and he finished in the same position in the third round (38,6), which was not enough to continue the fight for medals.
Only 0,2 points separated him from the fight for the bronze medal.
Radulović won the continuation of the competition with 38,3 points, as the fourth place in the group.
In the second round, she was fifth in her group (38,1), which was not enough to place among the top eight.
In the continuation of the first competition day, the competitors will fight on the tatami.
